Bastyr graduates Vickie Summerquist MS EAMP, LMP and Roxane Geller MS EAMP, LMP started Union Center For Healing to provide acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, nutritional and lifestyle counseling, massage therapy and other healing modalities. The providers work with patients to restore balance in their lives; whether the imbalance is due to a physical, emotional or spiritual concern. Roxane Geller, EAMP, LMP completed her MS in Acupuncture and Herbal medicine at Bastyr University in 2001. She is a licensed massage therapist and is nationally certified by the NCCAOM. Roxane interned at the women’s health and maternity ward at Conmaul Hospital in Seoul, Korea and studied Chinese herbology in gynecology and internal medicine at Shanghai TCM University and Hospital. She has studied native shamanic healing with Char Sundust and completed a mentoring program with energy intuitive Marie Manuchehri.
Roxane’s interests are in women’s and maternal health , emotional and mental health, chronic pain and illness, and spiritual growth and development. Through her own pursuit of spirituality inquiry, she is deeply interested in engaging with others in a way that will impact their unfolding. In her sessions she uses evolutionary medicine to restoring balance of the physical, emotional and spiritual. She has a particular interest in helping women become pregnant. As a mother of two, she became pregnant at an advanced maternal age with the help of acupuncture and herbal medicine. She enjoys helping other women tend to their whole selves so they can create a fertile environment in which to welcome a child.Using her BS in Biology from UC Davis, Roxane helped conduct two University of Washington, NCCAM funded studies: Acupuncture and the Treatment of Fibromyalgia and Reiki and the Treatment of Fibromyalgia. She was an acupuncturist for the Group Health Center for Health Studies study of Acupuncture for Back Pain. Currently she is the lead acupuncturist for an NCCAM funded breast cancer study, Acupuncture for Joint Symptoms related to Aromatase Inhibitors in Women with Early Stage Breast Cancer. She is the co-Founder and co-President of the
Maternity Acupuncture Association. Roxane co-owns Union Center for Healing in Seattle, Washington.
Vickie completed her MS in Acupuncture and Herbal medicine at Bastyr University in 2001. She has also received certificates in Japanese Acupuncture and Pediatric (Shonishin) Acupuncture from Northwest Institute of Oriental Medicine as well as Clinical Integration from Lonny Jarrett. Additionally, she has done extensive training in Five Element Acupuncture and is nationally certified by the NCCAOM . Vickie is also a licensed massage therapist and has training in cranial sacral massage.
Vickie treats a variety of disorders in her practice with a special emphasis on chronic pain, women’s health, depression and anxiety. She has been tremendously influenced by her studies with Lonny Jarrett the author of “Nourishing Destiny.” Sometimes her treatments provide relief from a chronic illness. Other times, treatments may be the beginning of evolution and change. Chinese Medicine can help to unwind deeply held patterns in the body that may be affecting numerous systems and hindering health on an emotional or mental level. By removing these obstacles patients may find a new ease that allows them to explore their lives more deeply. She is also constantly striving for more development and evolution in her own life and looks forward to working with people on this level. Kate Chilson received an MS in Acupuncture from the Northwest Institute of Oriental Medicine in 2003. She has trained in Chinese and Japanese acupuncture, biodynamic craniosacral therapy, Acutonics® sound therapy, and holds a certificate in massage therapy. Kate is nationally certified by the NCCAOM. She received a BS degree in Biology from Oberlin College, and has research cancer treatment at the Fred Hutchinson Center for 8 years. Kate has over 9 years of clinical experience as an acupuncturist: she has maintained a private practice, worked at Gracewinds Perinatal Clinic supporting women through pregnancy and post-partum, and held internships in which she worked with elderly and chronically fatigued clients. Most recently, Kate completed training in acupuncture for sports injuries and performance, learning to assess the orthopedic structure of the body and precisely treat the muscles and fascia. She utilizes all her training to approach healing from an integrated perspective.
Kate enjoys helping people with a variety of health concerns, in particular acute and chronic pain, stress, fatigue, gynecologic concerns and cancer. Her treatments are excellent for helping people feel more comfortable in their bodies and for giving them tools they can use to take good care of themselves. She is honored to support her clients’ processes of physical, emotional, and mental change.
Kate’s acupuncture and craniosacral sessions strengthen the inherent wisdom of her clients’ bodies. Through awareness, unwinding and being still, her clients find that their bodies remember how to be balanced and full of vitality. Kate excels at listening attentively with her hands and helping her clients drop into a state of deep relaxation. She is an avid student of health, regularly practices meditation, yoga, and nutritious cooking, and enjoys sharing what she’s learned with her clients.

Brad Darr, LMP, graduated from Cortiva Institute Seattle. Trained in various massage modalities he most often utilizes Myofascial techniques to help promote normal movement of muscles and break up adhesions in the connective tissue. He offers a client centered approach aimed at creating space, allowing the body to return to balance and promote healing. He hopes to foster increased body awareness as a path to better overall health and well being.

Sadiqua Iman, LMP, graduated from the Universal Spa Training Academy in Downers Grove, IL. She began her first private practice in Chicago, where she focused her energy on low-income women and artist. She went on to get additional training in Cranial Sacral Therapy from Bastyr University and Ayurvedic Health Counseling with Maharishi Ayurveda Association of America. In her practice she focus on raising awareness of the body, mind, spirit connection through a combination of intuitive body and energy modalities. Massage to Sadiqua is an art form just like dancing and poetry. She is inspired by each and every one of her clients to collaborate on creating their best self. She has a special interest in working with her LGBTQ community, women healing from trauma, dealing with depression and anxiety, as well as various reproductive issues. She uses a combination of deep tissue, energy work, myo-facial release, and many other modalities to ensure that each client is getting the exact treatment that they need.
Katherine Mulholland, LMP, graduated from the Massage Therapy Program at Lauterstein-Conway Massage School, in Austin TX. She continued her studies learning Therapeutic, Sports Massage and Deep Tissue. She then became interested in the profound effects of Maya Abdominal Massage and in 2012 travelled to Belize to complete professional training in Arvigo Techniques of Mayan Abdominal

Wilson Shook, LMP, studied massage at the Northwest Academy of Healing Arts, graduating in 2014. His highly personalized sessions draw primarily upon myofascial, deep tissue and visceral massage, as well as more subtle circulatory and energetic work.
Wilson is a sensitive, empathetic and intuitive practitioner, with a particular strength of both assessing patterns of dysfunction and working with each person's unique physical and energetic responses to fine tune his approach. Wilson has a particular interest in supporting his clients' healing at the intersections of emotional and physical trauma, as well as working through patterns of repetitive stress and compensation.

Samara White is passionate about supporting her patients through their journeys to feel their best. Samara specializes in treating fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and women’s health. She also enjoys treating a wide variety of issues including those related to sleep, digestion, and physical and emotional pain. In addition, Samara has extensive experience treating infants. She welcomes patients of all ages to her practice.
Samara is the author of the first acupuncture children's book, Maya & Friends Visit the Acupuncturist (http://acupuncturekidsbook.com). She enjoys explaining the concepts of Chinese medicine in a way that children and adults alike can understand.
Samara’s acupuncture and bodywork practice highlights her strong background in craniosacral bodywork, which is a gentle yet powerful modality stemming from the manual therapy tradition of Osteopathy. This work can allow for unwinding of tension and old patterns in adult patients, who often find this work very relaxing and deeply transformative. It is also a gentle and effective modality for working with babies.
Samara is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Licensed Massage Practitioner, and is certified by the Milne Institute in Visionary Craniosacral Work®. She is board-certified nationally in both acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine through the NCCAOM. Samara holds a Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine from the Seattle Institute of Oriental Medicine, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Wesleyan University.

Jennifer is guided by her passion for wellness as well as her desire to help facilitate healing for others. She provides a client-centered approach by emphasizing the importance of communication in order to achieve treatment goals. Jennifer's therapeutic massage consists of a combination of modalities, based on your body’s needs, to achieve balance. Her techniques range from light to deep touch and incorporate movement, compression, Swedish, myofascial, gentle stretching, breathe-work, and more. She takes special interest in shoulder injuries, victims of abuse, PTSD, and aims to create a safe space for the Queer and Trans communitites. She works closely with aging seniors to customize massage that is right for their bodies. She is a graduate of the Cortiva Institute-Seattle.

Jeong Lee, LMP is a 2010 graduate of Renton Technical College’s Massage Practitioner Program. He specializes in Bowen Therapy for the treatment of chronic and acute pain and dysfunction. He takes a highly customized approach through specialized muscle testing to provide an effective, integrated, and holistic treatment.
Robin is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist in both California and Washington State. Bringing a diverse range of interests and experience to her practice, Robin comes with a background in anthropology, body kinetics, and biomedicine, all which inform her practice.
Her specific interest and intent with Chinese medicine is to create space and capacity within each patient so they can reach their full potential and live the life they envision. Robin was particularly moved by working under the renowned fertility practitioner LiFang Liang in San Francisco’s Chinatown, and looks forward to continuing this powerful thread of Chinese medicine. Her other focuses include the role of the endocrine system in overall well being, emotional and mental health, sleep disorders, and gastrointestinal distress. Dermatology is also an interest of hers, and is certified in Mei Zen facial rejuvenation acupuncture.
Robin has found avenues within TCM to combine with her deep interests in ethnobotany, community health, and social justice. Robin started one of the few Spanish-speaking community acupuncture clinics in a health center for San Francisco’s Hispanic population, El Instituto Familiar de la Raza. She has also spent the last five years working for an NGO in Oaxaca, Mexico that responds to the lack of healthcare in highly marginalized areas by revitalizing traditional plant medicine. Passionate about creating sustainability within these communities, she also works as the director of Mexico for Crooked Trails, a sustainable travel organization that brings socially and environmentally responsible travel to the mountains of Oaxaca.
Anne has always been passionate about helping people heal. Ever since
she was a child she has had the innate, intuitive ability to help people
feel well by being a channel for healing energy.
Anne is a Certified Reiki Master who was first introduced to energy medicine in 2001. Since that time, Anne has offered a gentle form of energy movement that allows release and rejuvenation for her clients on many levels. Dawn brings her skill, wisdom and a deep level of compassion to each session. She promotes an environment of relaxation and deeper levels of awareness for her clients, enabling them to make both subtle and profound shifts. Dawn is a certified Reiki Master and uses her intuitive ability along with Reiki and other healing techniques to create an optimal healing experience.
